CEUs can be earned prior to completing the sample submission or prior to taking the exam. While not a prerequisite, in our experience those with the greatest chance of NCRW exam success have had at least 2 years of experience writing resume and cover letterswhether as a new or experienced business owner or as a staff member of a college career, workforce investment, or military transition center.

Our exam, like our pre-qualifying process, is the most challenging in the industry. The only way a writer can earn the NCRW certification is by demonstrating a high level of expertise in resume strategy, business writing, grammar and punctuation, proofreading, and electronic resume preparation. Upon receiving their credential, NCRWs have proven themselves over and over again to be the best in their field—a consummate professional dedicated to upholding the highest standards in the business.

Subsequently, NCRWs are required to acquire CEUs annually to maintain their certification, which keeps them on the cutting edge of this ever-changing industry. In addition, they must display LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency — the platform used by a majority of recruiters to find and vet talent. NCOPE Quick Links. About Us Contact Us.
